BITEX ACCOMPANIES THE LONG AN PROVINCE EXCELLENT STUDENT COMPETITION IN SOLVING MATHEMATICS ON HANDHELD CALCULATORS 2024-2025

On January 19, at Nguyen Trung Truc - Ben Luc High School, Ben Luc District, Long An Province, the Department of Education and Training of Long An Province, in collaboration with Binh Tay Import-Export Joint Stock Company (BITEX), organized the 21st Long An Province Excellent Student Competition in Solving Mathematics on Handheld Calculators for the 2024-2025 academic year. As the main companion and award sponsor, BITEX continues to affirm its mission of accompanying education and promoting the application of technology in learning and teaching.

This year's competition attracted 432 candidates from 38 high schools and 15 Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns, and cities in Long An Province. Among them, 75 candidates were in grade 9 and 357 candidates were in grade 12. They participated in a written exam, solving math problems from the middle and high school curricula, which required high levels of thinking, calculation techniques, and the ability to apply Casio handheld calculators to solve problems.

As the main sponsor of the competition, BITEX not only brought valuable gifts but also coordinated the organization of side activities to enhance the experience for candidates. Within the framework of the program, students had the opportunity to participate in the experience booth, try their hand at the team competition, and receive certificates. Meanwhile, teachers attended a specialized seminar to exchange experiences in teaching and preparing students for exams.
